Ingredients

  • -Chicken Breast: 400g (boneless, sliced thin)
  • - Allam-Vellulli Paste (Ginger-Garlic Paste): 1 tsp
  • - Pasupu (Turmeric): ¼ tsp
  • - Karam Podi (Red Chili Powder): 1 tsp
  • - Dhaniyala Podi (Coriander Powder): 1 tsp
  • - Miriyala Podi (Black Pepper): ½ tsp
  • - Uppu (Salt): To taste
  • - Nune (Olive Oil): 1 tbsp
  • - Nimmakaya (Lime Juice): 1 tsp
  • -Salad:
  • - Lettuce: 2 cups (chopped)
  • - Tomatoelu (Tomatoes): 1 (chopped)
  • - Senagalu (Chickpeas): 1 cup (boiled)
  • - Ullipayalu (Onions): ½ (sliced thin)
  • - Pachimirapa (Green Chili): 1 (chopped)
  • - Kothimeera (Coriander Leaves): 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • - Nimmakaya Rasam (Lime Juice): 1 tbsp
  • - Uppu: To taste
  • - Miriyala Podi: Pinch

Instructions

  1. - Chicken Fry:
  2. - Marinate chicken breast with allam-vellulli paste, pasupu, karam podi, dhaniyala podi, miriyala podi, uppu and some curd for 15 min.
  3. - Heat 1 tbsp nune in a pan, fry chicken slices on medium-high for 4-5 min per side till golden and cooked. Set aside, keep warm.
  4. - Salad:
  5. - Boil senagalu until soft, drain, cool.
  6. - In a bowl, toss lettuce, tomatoelu, ullipayalu, senagalu, kothimeera.
  7. - Add nimmakaya rasam, uppu, miriyala podi, mix gently.
  8. - for sauce on the top use any dressing or curd if you like it.
