One Pot Chicken Pulao

Ingredients
- Chickenbreast: 400g (boneless, cut into small pieces)
- Basmatirice: 2 cups
- Oil:2 tbsp
- Onions:1 (sliced thin)
- Tomatoes:1 (chopped)
- Greenchilies: 2 (slit)
- Gingergarlic paste: 1 tsp
- Turmericpowder: ¼ tsp
- Redchili powder: 1 tsp
- Corianderpowder: 1 tsp
- Garammasala: ½ tsp
- Salt:to taste
- Water:3.5 cups
- Mintleaves: 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Corianderleaves: 1 tbsp (chopped)
- Cinnamonstick: 1
- Cloves:2
- Cardamom:2
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot, add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, fry 30 seconds.
- Add onions, fry till golden (3-4 minutes).
- Add green chilies, ginger garlic paste, fry 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes, cook till soft (3 minutes).
- Add chicken breast pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt, cook 5 minutes.
- Add rice, mint leaves, coriander leaves, mix gently.
- Pour water, bring to boil.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes till rice is done and chicken is tender.
- Sprinkle garam masala, fluff with fork, serve hot.
