Ingredients

  • -Soya Chunks: 1 cup (100-150g, dry)
  • -Perugu : 2 tbsp (thick curd)
  • -Ginger-Garlic Paste: 1 tsp
  • -Red Chili Powder: 1 tsp
  • -Turmeric: ¼ tsp
  • -Garam Masala: ½ tsp
  • -Salt: To taste
  • -Corn Flour: 3 tbsp (only this for coating – no other flour)

Instructions

  1. Preparation Steps
  2. - Boil 3 cups water with pinch saly & pasupu. Add soya chunks, boil 8-10 min. Drain, rinse in cold water, squeeze tightly to remove all water.
  3. - Marinate squeezed soya chunks with perugu, allam-vellulli paste, karam podi, pasupu, garam masala, uppu for 15-20 min.
  4. - Add corn flour, mix well so every chunk is lightly coated (no extra water – dry coating undali).
  5. - Preheat air fryer to 180°C (360°F) for 5 min.
  6. - Place marinated soya chunks in air fryer basket (single layer), lightly brush or spray 1 tsp nune.
  7. - Air fry at 180°C for 10-12 min, shake basket halfway for even crispiness see the crispy ness if not cooked mix it and add 10mins more and check for crispiness and serve hot
